(9004) Peekaydee is a main outer belt asteroid discovered on October 22, 1982 by US astronomer Greg Aldering at the Kitt Peak National Observatory ( IAU code 695) in Arizona .

The mean diameter of the asteroid was determined to be 13.524 km (± 0.063). With an albedo of 0.075 (± 0.007) it has a rather dark surface. The rotation period of (9004) Peekaydee was established in 2016 by Adam Waszczak, Chan-Kao Chang, Eran Ofek et al. examined. However, the light curve was not sufficient for a determination.

The asteroid was named on April 13, 2017 after the American science fiction author Philip K. Dick (1928–1982).
