Çagllavica ( Albanian  also  Çagllavicë , Serbian Чаглавица Čaglavica ) is a village in central Kosovo . It is subdivided into two municipalities, Pristina and Gračanica .

geography

Çagllavica is seven kilometers south of the capital Pristina . Gračanica is eight kilometers east of the village. Nearby are Llapllasella and Hajvalia .

According to the 2011 census, Çagllavica had 4,423 inhabitants. Of these, 4,416 described themselves as Albanians , 41 as Serbs , 35 as Bosniaks , two as Roma and five belong to another ethnic group.

According to the 2011 census, the village then had 723 inhabitants. 285 of them described themselves as Albanians, 403 as Serbs, 25 as Roma and one as Bosniak. Seven others did not provide any information about their ethnicity.

In Çagllavica in the municipality of Pristina in 2011, of the 4423 inhabitants, 4035 professed Islam , 42 members of the Orthodox Church , 48 people are Catholics , 15 belong to another ethnic group. 11 people are unbelievers and 55 people are not registered. 27 gave no answer regarding their beliefs.

In Çagllavica in the Gračanica municipality in 2011, of the 723 inhabitants, 276 professed Islam, 407 people to the Orthodox Church, 18 people are Catholics, six people are unbelievers. 14 gave no answer regarding their beliefs.

Above Çagllavica is the M-2 in the direction of Peja and Han i Elezit . The R 6 and R 7 motorway junction is seven kilometers to the east .
