Eric Voruz

Éric Voruz (born July 5, 1945 in Moudon ( VD )) is a Swiss politician ( SP ) and member of the National Council .

Eric Voruz was a member of the Morges City Parliament from 1966 to 1985 . From 1982 to 1994 he was a member of the Vaudois Grand Council . In 1985 he was elected to the city government of Morges, of which he was a member from 1986 to 2008. From 1994 to 2008 he was mayor (Syndic) of Morges. From 2007 to 2015 he was also a member of the National Council. There he was a member of the Security Policy Commission .

Since 2008 he has been President of the Platform for Sans-Papiers . Voruz is married and met his future wife in an orphanage.
