Pierre-François Veillon (born April 30, 1950 in Château-d'Oex , VD ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ) and a former member of the National Council .

Pierre-François Veillon belonged to the 1985-1989 community legislative of Bex on. In 1986 he was elected to the Cantonal Parliament in Vaud , to which he belonged until 1991. From 1991 to 1996 he was a member of the cantonal government , the State Council . From 2003 to 2015 he was a member of the National Council, where he was elected President of the Audit Committee.

The agricultural engineer is married and has three children. One son is the satirist Vincent Veillon, who is popular in western Switzerland .
