Øster Skerninge Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Sunds Herred in what was then Svendborg Office , then to Egebjerg Municipality in Fyns Office , which was merged into Svendborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

925 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Øster Skerninge Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Vester Skerninge Sogn in the west, Ollerup Sogn in the north and Egense Sogn in the east .
