Vester Skerninge Kirke

Vester Skerninge Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Sallinge Herred in the then Svendborg Office , then to the Egebjerg Municipality in the Fyns Office , which was merged into the Svendborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

1324 inhabitants live in the parish, 1086 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church “Vester Skerninge Kirke”.

Neighboring communities are Ulbølle Sogn in the west, Hundstrup Sogn in the north , and Ollerup Sogn and Øster Skerninge Sogn in the east .
