Sankt Nikolaj Kirke

Sankt Nikolaj Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the town of Svendborg on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Sunds Herred in what was then Svendborg Office , then to Svendborg Municipality in Fyns Office , which was merged into the "new" Svendborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

Of the 27,068 inhabitants of Svendborg, 2,956 live in the parish of Sankt Nikolaj (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Sankt Nikolaj Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Sankt Jørgens Sogn in the southwest , Sørup Sogn in the northwest and Vor Frue Sogn in the northeast .
