Thurø Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Thurø southeast of the city of Svendborg on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Sunds Herred in what was then Svendborg Office , then to Svendborg Municipality in Fyns Office , which was merged into the "new" Svendborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

The parish has 3545 inhabitants, 3230 of them in the parish of Thurø By (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Trefoldighedskirken" ( German : Trinity Church ).
