Skårup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Sunds Herred in what was then Svendborg Office , then to Svendborg Municipality in Fyns Office , which was merged into the "new" Svendborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

The parish has 2,772 inhabitants, 1,795 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church “Skårup Kirke”.

Neighboring communities are Tved Sogn and Fredens Sogn in the west, Brudager Sogn in the north and Vejstrup Sogn in the east .
