Kirkeby Sogn ( German: municipality Kirchstadt ) is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Sunds Herred in what was then Svendborg Office , then to Egebjerg Municipality in Fyns Office , which was merged into Svendborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

1,373 inhabitants live in the parish, 594 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Kirkeby Kirke".

Neighboring communities are Lunde Sogn in the north, Gudbjerg Sogn in the northeast, Gudbjerg Sogn in the southeast, Sørup Sogn and Egense Sogn in the south, Ollerup Sogn in the southwest and Stenstrup Sogn in the west .
