(1754) Cunningham is an asteroid of the main outer belt discovered on March 29, 1935 by the Belgian astronomer Eugène Delporte at the Royal Observatory of Belgium ( IAU code 012) in Ukkel .
The asteroid was named after the American astronomer Leland E. Cunningham .
