1-chlorododecane is a chemical compound from the group of aliphatic , saturated halogenated hydrocarbons and chloroalkanes .
Extraction and presentation
1-chlorododecane, by chlorination of dodecane-1-ol with thionyl chloride or hydrogen chloride / zinc chloride are obtained. It is also possible to produce it by photochlorination of dodecane in the presence of zeolites .

use
