2. Military service senate of the Federal Administrative Court
The 2nd Military Service Senate is a panel of the Federal Administrative Court . He is one of two military service senates that were formed at the Federal Administrative Court.
Jurisdiction
The Senate is assigned the procedures according to the Military Disciplinary Code, including the right to compensation according to Art. 20 of the Law on Legal Protection in Long Court Proceedings and Criminal Investigations ( ÜVerfBesG ).

The Senate currently has the following three professional judges:
- Chairman: Richard Häußler (also Chairman of the 1st Military Service Senate )
- Deputy Chairman: Günter Burmeister
- Assessor: Angela Henke
The military service senate decides on the composition of three professional judges and two honorary judges . They will be drawn from among the soldiers or former soldiers who are appointed honorary judges to the troop service courts .

history
The 1st Military Service Senate was set up in connection with the establishment of the Bundeswehr . Due to the four-power status of Berlin , it could not be set up at the then seat of the Federal Administrative Court in Berlin-Charlottenburg , but was in Munich as a foreign chamber . When the Federal Administrative Court moved to Leipzig in 2002, the 1st Military Service Senate also moved there.
