Empire of Alexander the Great / Diadoch Wars
- An incursion by Nikanor , a general of Antigonus I. Monophthalmos , to Mesopotamia into the dominion of Seleucus I can be repulsed by the latter.
- December: Peace agreement in the Third Diadoch War ( Diadoch Peace ); Syria remains under the control of Antigonus I for the time being, Seleucus I establishes himself in Mesopotamia. The young Alexander IV. Aigos (12 years old) is recognized as the heir to the throne of his father Alexander the Great , whose kingdom he is to inherit.
