The second 400 km race of Bridgehampton 1962 , also Double 400, Bridgehampton , took place on September 16, 1962 at the Bridgehampton Race Circuit and was the 14th round of the sports car world championship of that year.
The race
One day after the GT car race, another championship race of the 1962 World Sports Car Championship took place on the Bridgehampton circuit . This time GT and racing cars over 2 liters were eligible to compete. After driving almost three hours, Pedro Rodríguez won in a Ferrari 330TRI / LM with two laps ahead of Bob Grossman in a Ferrari 250 GTO .
