The 46th Targa Florio , also 46 ° Targa Florio, Piccolo Circuito delle Madonie, Sicilia , took place in Sicily on May 6, 1962 and was the fifth round of the sports car world championship of that year.

The race

The 46th edition of the Targa Florio was all about Ferrari . Four Ferraris finished in the first five places. Won the race was the trio Willy Mairesse , Ricardo Rodriguez and Olivier Gendebien , the one plant - Ferrari Dino 246SP drove. For Gendebien it was already the third overall victory at the Targa.
