The Berlin Grand Prix , also known as the International AvD Avus Race (Grand Prize of Berlin), Avus , was a GT race that was held on May 13, 1962 on the Berlin Avus . At the same time, the race was the sixth round of this year's sports car world championship .

The race

The Berlin Grand Prix was one of the GT races that took place in the 1962 sports car world championship . With the exception of a GSM Delta, only Abarth and BMW vehicles competed in this race . The Swiss Robert Jenny won ahead of his brand colleagues Herbert Demetz and Gérard Langlois van Ophem .
