Claude Bobrowski

Claude Bobrowski ( May 18, 1931 - May 1, 2011 ) was a French racing driver .

Career in motorsport

Claude Bobrowski was active as a sports car driver in the late 1950s and early 1960s . He denied the Targa Florio in 1959 and has been in the sports car world championship in 1962 scoring Grand Prix of Berlin ninth overall. He finished third overall at the Spa-Francorchamps Grand Prix of that year. At the end of the year he finished 14th in the Paris 1000 km race .

He drove his only 24-hour race at Le Mans in 1963 . Together with Jean-Pierre Beltoise he finished eleventh overall on a René Bonnet Aerodjet LM6 and won the racing class for prototypes from 1001 to 1150 cc.

After the end of his career, he opened a company for used merchandise.
