Consuma hill climb 1964
The hill climb Consuma , even Coppa della Consuma or La Consuma Hillclimb , was a mountain race , which was extended on 24 May 1964th At the same time, the race was the sixth round of the sports car world championship this year.
The race
After 1963 , the hill climb on the Passo della Consuma was part of the sports car world championship for the second time . 244 drivers took part in the race with their cars, of which 216 were included in the ranking. Overall winner was Odoardo Govoni in a Maserati Tipo 60 , ahead of his compatriot Edoardo Lualdi , who drove a Ferrari 250 GTO .
Young Italian racing drivers such as Mario Casoni , Ignazio Giunti , Arturo Merzario and Nanni Galli , who later made international careers, also took part.
