Sergio Pedretti

Sergio Pedretti is a former Italian racing car driver who competed under the pseudonym Kim .

Career in motorsport

The choice of the pseudonym Kim was based on the admiration that Pedretti showed to the American actress Kim Novak . Between 1957 and 1965 Pedretti competed primarily in sports car races. During this time he was a regular participant in the Targa Florio , where fourth place in 1964 , together with Alfonso Thiele , was his best placing in the final classification. In 1957 he took part in the last Mille Miglia and was disqualified at his only start in the 1963 Le Mans 24-hour race .
