Aarón , with full name Aarón Ñíguez Esclápez (born April 26, 1989 in Elche ), is a Spanish football player who is currently without a club.

family

Aarón's brothers Jonathan (* 1985) and Saúl (* 1994) are also professional football players. Her father is the former soccer player José Antonio Ñíguez (* 1962).

Career

society

Aarón made his debut in the first team of FC Valencia on October 25, 2006 against AS Roma in the Champions League . He had to be replaced after only nine minutes because he was seriously injured. This season he wanted u. a. sign FC Barcelona and Chelsea . Valencia did not want to let the 17-year-old go and loaned him to the Segunda División to Deportivo Xerez . Due to a lack of match practice, Valencia broke off the loan in January 2008 and loaned it to Iraklis Thessaloniki , a Greek first division club. In August 2008, the Spaniard was awarded to the Scottish first division club Glasgow Rangers . The Rangers had an option to buy. This was not used.

In the 2009/10 season Ñíguez played on loan for Celta Vigo in the Spanish Segunda División . Aarón played the 2010/11 season on loan at Recreativo Huelva .

From 2011 on there were some free transfers with short stays of up to two years at the following clubs: UD Almería , FC Elche , Sporting Braga , CD Tenerife , Real Oviedo and Johor Darul Ta'zim FC .

After only three months at the Malaysian first division club Johor DT , Aarón was without a club in February 2019.

National team

In 2006 he took part in the U-17 European Championship in Luxembourg and scored three goals, placing him third on the top scorer list. In the end, the Spanish team finished third in the overall ranking. In 2007 he was in the European squad for the UEFA-CAF Meridian Cup .

Aarón took part in the U-19 European Championship in Austria in 2007 . In the opening game against the hosts, he scored a goal himself and prepared the second goal. Against Portugal he was also on the scorers list. His performance at this European Championship contributed greatly to the Spaniards' title win.

With seven goals he is one of the top three goal scorers of the Spanish U-20 national team .
