Abdoulaye Diallo (born March 30, 1992 in Reims ) is a French - Senegalese football goalkeeper .

Club career

Rennes stadium

In 2002, Abdoulaye Diallo started his career at the French first division club Stade Rennes in youth and went through the youth teams until 2009. Between 2004 and 2007 he was allowed to visit the Center technique national Fernand-Sastre , the center of excellence for French football.

For the 2009/2010 season he rose from the youth to the second team at Stade Rennes and was also called irregularly in the first team. He played his first game for the first team on November 29, 2009 in a 1-1 draw against Olympique Lyon and in the 2011/12 season he was again able to guard the box of the first team. In addition, Diallo came on November 15, 2011 in the 1: 3 defeat by Atlético Madrid in the group stage of the Europa League 2011/12 for his first international appearance.

Loan to Le Havre AC

After Abdoulaye Diallo was not used in the 2012/13 season or in the first part of the 2013/14 season , he became the then second division Le Havre AC on January 27, 2014 . In Ligue 2 he made his debut on February 3, 2014 in the 3-2 defeat against AS Nancy . Although the loan actually ended at the end of the season, he played another season for Le Havre AC because he was loaned by the club for another season. After the end of the 2014/15 season he returned to Stade Rennes.

Loan to Çaykur Rizespor

Towards the end of the 2016 summer transfer period, Diallo was loaned to the Turkish first division club Çaykur Rizespor . With this club he missed relegation at the end of the season.

Gençlerbirliği Ankara

In the summer of 2019, he moved to the Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara on a free transfer .

National team

With the French U-19 national team , Abdoulaye Diallo took part in the U-19 European Championship 2010 in his own country and guarded the French goal in all games. In the final, France defeated the Spanish U-19 national team 2-1 and was thus able to secure the European championship. He played a total of 10 games for the U-19s and for the French U-20 national team , he played just as many games.

Although he ran up in the French youth teams, he decided to play for the Senegalese national team and against the French national team . He was called up by Aliou Cissé for the friendly game against Ghana on March 28, 2015 and made his debut for Senegal in this game, which Senegal won 2-1. He made his competitive debut on June 13, 2015 in a 3-1 win against Burundi in qualifying for the African Championship .
