Erdem Özgenç (born August 22, 1984 in Hendek , Sakarya ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Erdem Özgenç started club football at the age of 14 in the youth of Yoncaspor and then went through the youth teams of İdealtepe SK, İstanbulspor and Fenerbahçe Istanbul . In the 2004/05 season he signed a professional contract with the then third division club Maltepespor and left the youth of Fenerbahçe. At Maltepespor he got a place in the starting line-up and played a season here.

A season later he moved to the fourth division Etimesgut Şekerspor . With his new team he succeeded in his first season of direct promotion to the third highest Turkish division.

From the middle of the 2006/07 season he played for half a season at his old club Maltepespor.

For the 2007/08 season he was hired by the second division Kartalspor . Here he played for a season.

In 2008/09 he moved to Boluspor within the league . Here he played long seasons and twice missed promotion to the Süper Lig with his club .

For the 2011/12 season he moved one league higher to the North Anatolian club Kardemir Karabükspor .

After Karabükspor missed relegation in the Süper Lig in the summer of 2015, Özgenç moved to league rivals Bursaspor . For the 2017 season he was signed by the second division MKE Ankaragücü .
