badges and flags

The coat of arms was approved by the Magdeburg Regional Council on June 28, 2000 and registered in the Saxony-Anhalt State Archives under the number 28/2000.

Blazon : "In gold on a green hill, a left-looking, standing, silver-contoured black sparrow, on the right elevated by a stalked, rising green linden leaf."

The design is based on an old image seal of the municipality. The black sparrow on the green hill speaks for the Sperlingsberg located in the Ackendorfer district. The linden leaf symbolizes the fertility of the Bördeland landscape.

The colors of Ackendorf are black and yellow.

The coat of arms was designed by the Magdeburg heraldist Ernst Albrecht Fiedler .

The flag of Ackendorf has black and yellow stripes (hoisted flag: stripes from top to bottom, cross flag: stripes from left to right) with the coat of arms on top.
