Aco Stojkov ( Macedonian Ацо Стојков ; born April 29, 1983 in Strumica ) is a North Macedonian football player . He is known for his speed and flexibility.
Stojkov played with Goran Pandev in Inter Milan Primavera, the U-20 team of Inter Milan . With the team he was able to win the youth championship in 2002. From there it was awarded to clubs in Italy and Poland .
In 2006 Stojkov moved to FK Partizan Belgrade , but left the team a year later and has since played for Debreceni VSC in Hungary . In early 2008 he was loaned to Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC . In August 2009 he moved to Switzerland for FC Aarau , where he signed a contract until the end of the 2011/12 season. In his first season in Aarau he was relegated with his team and missed the comeback significantly. He finished the 2011/12 season with his team in second place, but lost to FC Sion in the barrage games .
Stojkov then moved to Zob Ahan Isfahan in Iran, but returned to Europe in early 2013, where he joined Vardar Skopje . With Vardar he was able to win the championship in 2013 , to which he himself contributed seven goals in eleven games. In the first half of the 2013/14 season he scored ten goals in 16 games. In early 2014, the Romanian first division club FC Botoșani signed him. Half a year later, Rabotnički Skopje signed him . There he scored nine goals in eleven games in the first half of the 2014/15 season . At the beginning of 2015 he moved to KF Skënderbeu Korça in Albania. He won the 2015 championship with his new team, but returned to Vardar in Macedonia in the summer of 2015. In 2018 he switched to league rivals Akademija Pandev .
National team
He made his first international match on August 21, 2002 against Malta . In this he also scored his first international goal. By 2014 he had played a total of 40 international matches, scoring five goals.
