Adalberto Javier Ramones Martínez (born December 3, 1961 in Monterrey ) is a Mexican television presenter and producer , director and comedian.

Life

Ramones studied communication science at the Universidad Regiomontana , as well as acting with a focus on improvisation, speech and body language. He began his television career as a producer and director of commercials and then produced the children's programs El Espacio de Cositas and Qué Payasos in Mexico City . He later directed programs such as Valores Juveniles , Furia Musical , Desfile de Navidad , the broadcast of the Winter Olympics in Nagano and the 1998 World Cup in France.

Ramones was successful as the presenter of his own program Otro Rollo on the Televisa broadcaster , which is broadcast in Mexico and 53 other countries. Guests were celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone , Chris Rock , Cameron Diaz , Kevin James , Lucy Liu , Arnold Schwarzenegger , Christina Aguilera , John Leguizamo , Chayanne , Will Smith , Britney Spears , Ricky Martin , the Backstreet Boys , Elton John , Shakira and Paris Hilton . In 2003, TVyNovelas magazine named him the best presenter and his show named the best entertainment program of the year.

In 2000, Ramones produced and directed the play Sueños de un Seductor ( Play It Again, Sam by Woody Allen , with Juan Carlos Colombo , Ana Patricia Rojo , Mauricio Castillo and Dacia Alcaraz ). In 2005 he moderated the competition Bailando por un sueño , the following year the competition Cantando por un sueño . Ramones has dubbed animated films many times, and was nominated for the 2005 MTV Movie Award in Mexico for best actor.
