Adel Zaky
Adel Zaky OFM (born December 1, 1947 in Luxor ; † July 21, 2019 ) was an Egyptian religious and Apostolic Vicar of Alexandria in Egypt .
Life
Adel Zaky joined the religious order of the Franciscans in, put the profession on September 10, 1972, received on 24 September 1972, the priestly ordination .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on September 1, 2009 Vicar Apostolic of Alexandria in Egypt and Titular Bishop of Flumenzer . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Egypt , Michael Louis Fitzgerald MAfr , on October 31 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Marco Dino Brogi OFM, Consultor of the State Secretariat - Section for Relations with States, and Giovanni Innocenzo Martinelli OFM, Vicar Apostolic of Tripoli .
