Adem Karaduman (born July 25, 1976 in Wiener Neustadt ) is an Austrian - Turkish actor , speaker and comedian . Among other things, Karaduman writes scripts and is also on stage as a solo artist. He writes the solo pieces himself.

Life & family

Adem Karaduman was born as the second youngest of five siblings in a guest worker family from Turkey / Antalya in Lower Austria / Wiener Neustadt. His parents came to Austria in the sixties. After school he was persuaded to do an apprenticeship. After completing his apprenticeship, he fought for his freedom after a lot of arguments and dared to step into the world of art and culture.

Adem Karaduman himself lives in Vienna and travels to Germany and Turkey on business. He has been in a relationship with the German architect and interior designer Doren Rommel since November 2005. They have a daughter together.

Adem Karaduman attended the MSM (Müjdat Gezen Sanat Merkezi) in Istanbul , a training center for talented actors founded by Müjdat Gezen. After a year he moved on to Cologne in the Theater Academy in Sülz , for Filmpool -Agentur and RTL . Since the early summer of 2004 he has been living in Vienna, where he attended and attended the Prayner Conservatory .

In cinema and television Karaduman has worked with directors such as David Schalko, Tim Trageser, Lars Becker, Stefan Ruzowitzky, Paul Harather, Michael Riebl, Wolfgang Murnberger, Urs Egger, Ali Soozandeh, Ali Samadi Ahadi, Ulrich Seidl, Hüseyin Tabak, Umut Dag, Sabine Derflinger, Barbara Eder, Roland Düringer, Peter Brunner and Markus Mörth worked together.

Karaduman was already active in the independent theater scene during his training. Karaduman is now on stages such as the Volkstheater, Anatomie Theater, Cabaret Simpl, Vindobona Vienna, Theater an der Wien, the Rabenhof Theater and other houses.

Its artistic directors and directors are theater makers such as Michael Niavarani, Michael Schottenberg, Albert Schmidtleitner, Prof. DI Roland Geyer, Thomas Gratzer, Herbert Föttinger, Philipp Harnoncourt, Roman Freiaßner-Hausner, Johannes Glück, Hubert Kramer and many more.

Karaduman is also on the road as a solo artist.

Awards were given as a team for:

  • “Tehran Tabu”, directed by Ali Soozandeh, nominated at the Cannes Film Festival 2017 for Semaine de la Critique, in the official competition of Festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy 2017.
  • "Your beauty is worth nothing" Directed by Hüseyin Tabak at the Austrian Film Award, best director, best screenplay and best feature film (plus an award for the best music to composer Judit Varga).
  • The crime series Tatort - Counted, directed by Sabine Derflinger received the Grimmepreis in 2013.
  • Import - Export Director Ulrich Seidl. He was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 60th Cannes Film Festival . 

Among other things, Karaduman was awarded twice in a row for the best entertainer in Turkey.
