Adersheim is a district in the southwest of the city of Wolfenbüttel .
history
There is evidence of the von Adersheim family dating from 1218 to 1228 and from 1352. The former castle site was a tower castle with a moat. A hill surrounded by water testifies to this castle today. Around 1800 the owner of the castle was a "castle master". In 1390 16 hooves were counted around the castle courtyard , from 1430 to 1846 14 hooves with 4 feces . The local parish church was mentioned in the 13th century. Adersheim was a fiefdom of the von Saldern family , from 1430 a pledge from the Cyriakus pen in Braunschweig . The monastery divided it into two Meierhöfe in 1542 and 1566 . The parish of Adersheim became vacant in 1542 and relocated to Fümmelse , later to Leinde and in 1564 to Vallstedt .
Adersheim was first mentioned in a document in 1150 in a document from the Sankt Ludgeri monastery in Helmstedt . The place Adersheim was already written in 1182. Next to the town of Adersheim there was Klein Adersheim, about 1.3 kilometers south on the road to Fümmelse.
Spellings such as Adersem, ?? Adershem, ?? Ardesheim, ?? Hardesheim, ?? Aderseim, ?? Adersumb ?? and Arsenic are known.
On March 1, 1974, the incorporation contract with the city of Wolfenbüttel came into force.
