Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa (born August 19, 1969 in Sibiu ) is a former Romanian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa was initially active as a cross-country skier. At the age of 18, she took in 1988 in Calgary for the first time at the Olympic Winter Games in part. Over 10 kilometers she was 47th, over 20 kilometers 46. In addition, she reached 12th place in the relay race with Ileana Ianoșiu-Hangan , Mihaela Cârstoi and Rodica Drăguș . After biathlon became an Olympic sport, the Romanian switched to the sport and took part in the 1990 World Championships in Minsk and Oslo for the first time, where she was 43rd of the individual. A year later , Lahti added 43rd place in the sprint and 21st in the individual. In 1992 , the Romanian took part in the first ever Olympic biathlon competition for women in Albertville . In the sprint Țuțulan-Șotropa was 38th, in the individual 41st and on the side of Mihaela Cârstoi and Ileana Ianoșiu-Hangan, who had also switched from cross-country skiing to biathlon, relay tenth. In the inter -Olympic year, the 1993 World Championships followed in Borowetz , where Țuțulan-Șotropa was 31st of the individual, 32nd of the sprint and with Daniela Gârbacea , Monica Jauca , Mihaela Cârstoi 11th in the relay competition. In 1994 , the Romania's third Olympic Games followed in Lillehammer . She achieved her best result at an international championship with an 18th place in the individual, came in 55th place in the sprint and was with Adina Țuțulan-Șotropa, Ana Roman and Mihaela Cârstoi as the starting runner 16th in the relay. The 1995 World Championships followed in Antholz , where Țuțulan-Șotropa was 43rd in the individual and 46th in the sprint. The last international championships were the 1996 World Championships in Ruhpolding , where she finished 40th in the sprint and 41st in the individual.

Until 1999 Țuțulan-Șotropa regularly took part in World Cup races, placing in the points such as 16th in an individual in 1993 in Antholz remained the exception. In 1999 she ended her career.
