Adolf Eduard Ludwig Viktor Graf von Westarp (born November 18, 1854 in Düsseldorf , † December 19, 1925 ) was a Prussian lieutenant general .

He was the son of the head forester Viktor Graf von Westarp (1826–1868) and his wife Emma, ​​née von Oven (1831–1910). The politician Kuno von Westarp was his brother. Military career

Coming from the cadet corps, Westarp was transferred on April 28, 1872 as a second lieutenant to the 6th Brandenburg Infantry Regiment No. 52 of the Prussian Army . On December 15, 1906, Westarp was transferred to Trier and entrusted with the leadership of the 16th field artillery brigade there . On April 14, 1907 he was appointed commander of this large unit and on May 1, 1909 he rose to major general . In this capacity, Westarp received the Order of the Crown, 2nd class, and on the occasion of the Order Festival in 1911, the Order of the Red Eagle, 2nd class with oak leaves. With the approval of his resignation request, he was put up for disposition on April 22, 1912 with the status of lieutenant general with the statutory pension .

During the First World War , Westarp was reused as a ZD officer and acted as the inspector of the 3rd Army's stage inspection .

Westarp was married twice, first from 1877 to Eugenie Schneider (1854–1890) and from 1899 to Alexandra von Walter (1863–1940). The following children emerged from the marriages:
