The Aftokinitodromos 71 / Αυτοκινητόδρομος 71 ( Greek for 'Highway 71') is a Greek highway that is under construction , which leads from Highway 7 at Megalopoli via Sparta to Gythio . The first section from the A7 towards Sparta was completed in September 2012. The total length to Sparta has been open to traffic since April 2016. Some remaining construction work has been carried out since then. The continuation of the road to Gythio is still under construction.
