The Ethniki Odos 95 / Εθνική Οδός 95 ( Greek for 'national road 95') is one of the most important traffic routes on the island of Rhodes and at the same time the only national road on the island. It starts in the south of Rhodes town and ends after approx. 58 km a little south of Lindos. Part of the route is built like a motorway.

expansion

Until 1999, the national road was only one lane on the entire route , which meant that it was difficult to get to the south of the island quickly, especially in summer, as the route was hopelessly overloaded due to the high number of tourists. Therefore, at the turn of the millennium, a first section from Rhodes Town to Faliraki was expanded to two lanes with separate lanes in order to cope with the high volume of traffic.

Preparations for the four-lane expansion between Faliraki and Kolymbia have also been underway since summer 2008; a completion date is not yet known. Further plans envisage expanding the national road to Lindos in a manner similar to a motorway.

In the official numbering and designation of the motorway routes published in January 2008 by the General Secretariat of the Ministry for the Environment, Regional Planning and Public Buildings, no motorway is shown on Rhodes, although this does not affect a motorway-like expansion.
