Al-Ahram International 2001

The Al Ahram International 2001 took place from September 3-9 , 2001 in Giza , Egypt . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2001/02 and belonged to the PSA Super Series Silver category . The total prize pool was $ 75,000.

Defending champion Peter Nicol again secured the tournament victory with a 15: 8, 17:15 and 15:12 victory over Jonathon Power . It was his third title at Al Ahram International in a row and fourth title win overall at the tournament.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, including eight qualifiers. Per Wildcard was Mohammed Abbas a spot in the main draw.
