Alarm for Cobra 11: Highway Nights (as English version: Crash Time III ) is a racing game based on the television series Alarm for Cobra 11 , which was released at the end of 2009 for Windows , Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 . It is the third computer game from the publisher dtp entertainment and the developer studio Synetic for the Alarm-for-Cobra-11 series.

Like its predecessor, it plays Alarm for Cobra 11: Burning Wheels in a fictional city that consists of two parts, a city section and a motorway section. In this part, the individual cases are summarized for the first time in a large campaign dealing with a planned attack on a high-ranking CEO.

Gameplay

General

The game is a racing game that takes up central elements of the television series. The player usually drives on patrol and receives various messages about fugitives or suspects he should stop. This often leads to car chases with considerable destruction, the character of the game as an arcade racer shows.

Career

The central element of the game is the career mode. The player can go out on the patrol and receive various mission offers from his office. The main plot of the game is a planned terrorist attack on the plane of a politician from the Middle East. The individual missions of the game are sometimes more, sometimes less related to this framework story.

There is a star rating for all missions. With each mission, the player receives predetermined limits such as a time limit or a damage limit. At the beginning of the mission, the player starts with five stars. If the limits are exceeded, the limits are increased and a star is deducted. This can be done a total of four times, if no more stars remain, the mission is deemed to have failed. The player can play the individual missions again at any time after completing them, but there is no way to improve the ratings.

Single race

In the single race mode , the player can try out the objects that have been unlocked in the course of his career. There are numerous circuits that lead through the city or on the motorway. The player can set parameters such as time of day, number of opponents or traffic density.

vehicles

All vehicles in the game are fictional models based on real-life models. This happened for licensing reasons. All vehicles have invented names and have a C11 symbol as the manufacturer's logo.
