Alexander Johnston Barron (also Alexander J. Barron , born July 16, 1880 in Connellsville , Pennsylvania , † July 23, 1982 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania) was an American lawyer .

Life

Family and education

Alexander Johnston Barron, son of John Barron and Margaret Clark Johnston Barron, graduated from Lawrenceville Preparatory School in Lawrenceville , New Jersey in 1898 . He then studied at Princeton University in Princeton , New Jersey. Alexander Johnston Barron, who had been taught there by US Presidents Grover Cleveland and Woodrow Wilson , among others , received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1902 . He studied from 1903 to 1904 at Harvard Law School , in 1905 he was at theUniversity of Pittsburgh for Doctor of Jurisprudence PhD .

Alexander Johnston Barron married Elizabeth Congdon on September 26, 1907. He died at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1982 at the age of 102.

Alexander Johnston Barron, who was admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania in 1905, then practiced as one of the star attorneys in Pittsburgh, most recently as Of Counsel for the law firm Alter, Wright & Barron until shortly before his death .
