Alexander Serikow (born June 23, 1975 in Landshut , Bavaria ) is a former German ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Heilbronner Falken in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey .

Career

Serikow began his career in the junior game operation of EV Landshut and then moved to the ice hockey Bundesliga for the Mannheim ERC , for whose DEL team Adler Mannheim he was on the ice even after the new top German professional game class was founded in 1994 . In 1997 , 1998 and 1999 Serikow was able to win the German championship with the Mannheim team three times in a row . For the 1999/00 season , the left shooter finally moved to the Munich Barons , with whom he was again German champions and for whom he played until they moved to Hamburg .

In 2002 Serikow moved to the Kassel Huskies , for which he was on the ice until he moved to the second division for the 2006/07 season. In the 2004/05 season he interrupted the engagement for a short stay with the Hanover Scorpions . From 2007 to 2011 , the attacker was in the squad of the second division Bietigheim Steelers , with whom he won the championship in 2009 , before moving to their league rivals Heilbronner Falken in the 2011/12 season.

In January 2017 he was an interim trainer at EV Landshut.

International

For the German national ice hockey team Alexander Serikow denied several international tournaments, including the World Championships in 1995 , 1997 and 1999 , the 1996 World Cup of Hockey and the Olympic Hockey Tournament 1994 .
