Alexandra Reinprecht

Alexandra Reinprecht (* 1974 in Vienna ) is an Austrian opera and concert singer ( soprano ).

Life

Alexandra Reinprecht, daughter of two singers, received her first singing lessons from her mother, who also worked as a singing teacher. This was followed by singing and piano lessons with Elfriede Mohrenberger and Bernhard Maxara. She then completed her vocal studies at the “Giuseppe Tartini” Conservatory in Trieste with Cecilia Fusco in 1998 with a diploma with distinction.

Reinprecht found his first engagement in the years 1999 to 2001 at the Theater St. Gallen . From 2001 to 2003 she was engaged at the Graz Opera , after which she played as a member of the ensemble at the Stuttgart State Opera . From 2006 to 2008 she was a member of the Vienna Volksoper ensemble . Reinprecht has been a member of the Vienna State Opera ensemble since 2008 .

Reinprecht's repertoire includes a. the roles of Adele in Johann Strauss' Die Fledermaus , Sophie in Werther by Jules Massenet , Gilda in Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto , Marie in Gaetano Donizetti's La fille du régiment , Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , Sandrina in Mozart's La finta Giardiniera , Adina in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore , Semele in The Story of Semele by Georg Friedrich Händel , Eurydice in Jacques Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld , Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte , Baroness Freimann in Der Wildschütz by Albert Lortzing , Ilia in Mozart's Idomeneo , Lady Harriet (Martha) in Friedrich von Flotows Martha , Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus , Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Musetta in Giacomo Puccini's La Bohème , Juliette in Charles Gounod's Roméo et Juliette , Antonia in Hoffmanns Erzählungen (Offenbach), Martha Engel in Der Evangelimann by Wilhelm Kienzl , Zdenka in Arabella by Richard Strauss and the title role in Jules Massenet's M anon .

Guest engagements led Alexandra Reinprecht u. a. to the Bavarian State Opera in Munich (Adele in Die Fledermaus ), to the Komische Oper Berlin (Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus ) and to the Teatro dell 'Opera in Rome (Manon). Also she stood at the Salzburg Festival as Ino in The Bacchae of Egon Wellesz and the Mörbisch Lake Festival as Sonja in The Tsarevich by Franz Lehár on stage.

Reinprecht received special recognition in April 2008 when she stood in for the sick Anna Netrebko as Manon (Massenet) at the Vienna State Opera. Since May 2011 Alexandra Reinprecht has been back on the stage of the Vienna Volksoper as Hanna Glawari in Lehár's The Merry Widow in Marco Arturo Marelli's production .
