Alicja Bachleda-Curuś
Alicja Bachleda-Curuś (born May 12, 1983 in Tampico , Tamaulipas , Mexico ) is a Polish actress and singer .
life and career
Alicja Bachleda-Curuś was born in Mexico, her father was working there as a geologist at the time. The family left Mexico after a few months and spent most of their youth in Krakow . In addition to her mother tongue, she also speaks English , Spanish and German .
She began her career at the age of 16 when she played Zosia , one of the main characters in the film adaptation of the Polish national epic Pan Tadeusz (1999). After that, she starred in some movies and TV series . Since 2004 she has played exclusively abroad: in Germany , France and the USA . She completed her acting training at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City only after the great success of her youth. Her greatest passion besides film is music . She began her musical performances at the age of six. She won main prizes at several children's competitions in Poland and represented Polish television several times in international competitions.
Bachleda-Curuś has a son (* 2009) with her former partner Colin Farrell .
