Alla Nikolajewna Schiljajewa ( Russian Алла Николаевна Жиляева , English transcription Alla Zhilya (y) eva ; born February 5, 1969 in Kursk Oblast ) is a Russian long-distance runner .

Life

At the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 , she was seventh over 10,000 meters . In the same year she was fifth in the individual standings at the World Half Marathon Championships in Belfort and first with the Russian team in the team standings and won the Reims Marathon with the current course record of 2:27:38 h.

In 1996, she finished ninth at the Boston Marathon , but reached the Marathon of the Olympic Games in Atlanta not the goal. The following year she finished seventh in Boston, won the Marseille - Cassis race and finished eighth in the Tokyo International Women's Marathon . In 1999 she was third in the Los Angeles Marathon , second in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon , won again in Reims and won the Monaco Marathon .

In 1998 she became Russian champion over 10,000 meters and in the half marathon , in 2003 national indoor champion over 3000 meters .

Alla Schiljajewa is 163 m tall and weighs 48 kg. She lives in Kursk and is trained by W. Schajew.
