ULEB Euroleague 2009/10

The season 2009/10 was the eighth season of the ULEB discharged Euro Cup .

The Valencia Basket Club from Spain won the title for the second time .

mode

Qualification began on October 20, 2009 and ended on November 3, 2009. The regular season began on November 24, 2009 and ended on April 18, 2010 with the final of the Final Four tournament . 32 teams took part in the first group stage. In addition to the 24 directly qualified teams, there were eight teams from the second qualifying round. The 32 teams were divided into eight groups of four teams each. A double round was played everyone against everyone. The two best in each group advanced to the second group stage. The round of 16 was played for the first time in the history of the Eurocup. As in the first group stage, the 16 teams were divided into four groups of four. A double round was played everyone against everyone. The two best in each group made it to the quarter-finals. The winner of the tournament was determined in a Final 4 tournament.
