Allan Kroeker

Allan Kroeker (born April 10, 1951 in Winnipeg , Manitoba ) is a Canadian television director . He was best known as the director of several episodes of various Star Trek television series.

Career

Kroeker made his debut in 1979 as director of the short film Tudor King , for which he also wrote the screenplay. Numerous directing work for Canadian television films and series of the 1980s followed. From the beginning of the 1990s, he also worked for US television. In 1995 he directed six episodes of the second season of the science fiction series Tek War - Warriors of the Future, produced by his compatriot William Shatner . In 1996 he first directed an episode of a Star Trek television series. Until 2005 he directed fourteen episodes each of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine , Star Trek: Raumschiff Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise for the Star Trek franchise , including the last episodes of each of the three TV series.

Kroeker was nominated three times for the Gemini Award .
