Altötting half marathon

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Altötting Half Marathon (official name of the International OMV Half Marathon Altötting after the current main sponsor OMV ) is a half marathon that has been taking place in Altötting since 1992 in August or September . The program also includes a 6 km run.

The flat circuit begins and ends in the city center and leads mostly through the Altöttinger Forest east of the city. The organizer advertises with the name "fastest natural run in the world", which seems plausible in view of the course records.
