Amphoe Charoen Sin ( Thai อำเภอ เจริญ ศิลป ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) of the Province of Sakon Nakhon . The province of Sakon Nakhon is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

The Amphoe Charoen Sin is located in the northeast of the province of Sakon Nakhon and, viewed from the north, borders in a clockwise direction with the Amphoe Ban Muang , Wanon Niwat and Sawang Daen Din in the province of Sakon Nakhon and Amphoe Ban Dung in the province of Udon Thani .

history

Amphoe Charoen Sin was formed on February 15, 1988 as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) and comprised five tambon that had been relocated from the Amphoe Sawang Daen Din . It was upgraded to a full amphoe on July 4, 1994.

There is one municipality with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Charoen Sin (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เจริญศิลป์ ), consisting of parts of the tambon Charoen Sin and Thung Kae.
