Amphoe Prachaksinlapakhom ( Thai อำเภอ ประจักษ์ ศิ ล ปา คม ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) in Udon Thani Province . The Udon Thani Province is located in the northwestern part of Isan , the northeast region of Thailand.

Neighboring districts (clockwise from the north): the Amphoe Nong Han , Ku Kaeo , Kumphawapi and Mueang Udon Thani . All Amphoe are in Udon Thani Province.

history

Prachaksinlapakhom was initially set up as a subdistrict ( King Amphoe ) on June 1, 1997 , separating it from the Kumphawapi district .

On May 15, 2007 the Thai government decided to raise all 81 King Amphoe to simple amphoe status in order to unify the administration. With the publication in the Royal Gazette "Issue 124 chapter 46" on August 24, 2007 this decision officially entered into force.

In the district there are three " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)

  • Na Muang (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล นา ม่วง ) consisting of the complete Tambon Na Muang.
  • Huai Sam Phat (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ห้วย สาม พาด ) consisting of the complete tambon Huai Sam Phat.
  • Um Chan (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล อุ่ ม จาน ) consisting of the complete tambon Um Chan.
