Amphoe Non Sa-at ( Thai : อำเภอ โนนสะอาด ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the south of Udon Thani Province . The Udon Thani Province is located in the northwestern part of Isan , the northeast region of Thailand .

Adjacent areas (from the southwest clockwise) the Amphoe Nong Saeng and Kumphawapi in the province of Udon Thani and the Amphoe Kranuan , Nam Phong and Khao Suan Kwang the province Khon Kaen .

history

Non Sa-at was initially set up as a subdistrict ( King Amphoe ) on January 21, 1974 by separating the three tambon Non Sa-at, Pho Si Samran and Bung Kaeo from Amphoe Kumphawapi . On April 12, 1977 it was promoted to Amphoe.

traffic

Non Sa-at has a station on the northeast line of the Thai Railway ( Nakhon Ratchasima – Nong Khai line ). The Thanon Mittraphap ("Street of Friendship"; National Road 2) runs through the district .

Local administration

There are two small towns ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the county:

  • Non Sa-at ( เทศบาล ตำบล โนนสะอาด ), consisting of parts of the tambon Non Sa-at,
  • Nong Waen Non Sa-at ( เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง แวง โนนสะอาด ), consisting of further parts of the Tambon Non Sa-at.

There are also six "Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) for the tambon in the district that do not belong to any city.
