Amphoe Na Yung ( Thai : อำเภอ นา ยูง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the northwest of the Udon Thani Province . The province of Udon Thani is located in Isan , the northeast region of Thailand .

Adjacent counties (from southeast clockwise) the Amphoe Ban Phue and Nam Som in the province of Udon Thani, Amphoe Pak Chom the Loei province , and the Amphoe Sangkhom and Pho Tak the province Nong Khai .

history

Na Yung was first established as a subdistrict ( King Amphoe ) on January 1, 1988 , separating it from Nam Som Amphoe . It was promoted to Amphoe on September 7, 1995.

Wat Pa Phu Kon ( วัด ป่า ภู ก้อน ) - a Buddhist temple ( Wat ) with an impressive assembly hall ( Wihan )

Local administration

There are two small towns ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the county:

Non Thong ( เทศบาล ตำบล โนน ทอง ), consisting of the entire Tambon Non Thong,
Na Yung ( เทศบาล ตำบล นา ยูง ), consisting of the entire tambon Na Yung.

There are also two “Tambon Administrative Organizations” (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Administrative Organizations) for the tambon in the district that do not belong to any city.
