The Seibelsdorf office was an office , i.e. an administrative and judicial district of the Principality of Bayreuth , an imperial territory in the Holy Roman Empire . The principality, also known as the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Bayreuth , was assigned to the Franconian Imperial Circle and became part of Ansbach-Bayreuth when the Prussians took possession of it in 1791/92 .

The Seibelsdorf office was an exclave of the Principality of Bayreuth, which was part of the Kulmbach administration .
