Game flow

Amun-Re is set in ancient Egypt during the time of the pharaohs. The players take on the role of rival dynasties. During the game, players try to use their influence to take possession of provinces, build pyramids there and increase their standing.

The game is divided into 2 halves: These halves each consist of 3 rounds of 5 or 6 phases. At the end of each round, all players make a joint sacrifice to the gods to ease them and prevent a drought.

The second phase is the transition between the old and new kingdoms. In the course of the change, the dynasties lose their entire property. All that remains is the accumulated fame. However, this does not apply to the already built pyramids, which still stand in the provinces as witnesses of a bygone era.

All under the motto: Only those who know the sun god Amun-Re on their side will win the game.
