Andreassen is different

Anders Andreassen (born May 22, 1944 in Kuummiit ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Siumut ) and police officer .

Life

Anders Andreassen completed a commercial training course in Helsinge, Denmark , from 1961 to 1965 . He then worked at Anva in 1966 before moving back to Greenland and being employed there. In 1968 he worked at Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel , but then worked for the police from 1969 to 1979 . For Tasiilaq he was elected to the last national council in 1975 . From 1975 to 1983 he was an administrative member of Grønlandsfly . In 1979 he was elected to the first Inatsisartut . He was Minister for Settlements and External Districts in Naalakkersuisut . He then worked again as a police officer in Tasiilaq from 1983 to 1985 before he moved to Paamiut and headed the police station there until 1988. In 1990 he was KNI's village advisor , from 1992 to 1993 vice district head and then district head. In 1993 he was appointed mayor of Ammassalik municipality , after having already served on the local council. In 1995 he was back in parliament after twelve years and in 1997 was the first East Greenlander to be appointed President of Parliament. He replaced Knud Sørensen . He was re-elected to parliament in 1999 and remained in it until 2002, but was replaced by Ole Lynge as President of Parliament. On August 26, 1994, he was presented with the silver Nersornaat . On June 21, 1998, he also received the Nersornaat in gold.
